About: Nigel is our pumps sales manager at head office in Adelaide. He has been with Global Pumps for 4 ½ years but has had 40 years sales experience, 30 years in Sales Management in a wide range of Industrial, Agricultural, Mining and Export Markets.

Fun Fact: Nigel has a keen interest in thoroughbred horse racing.

About: Darren was born and bred into the business and is passionate about making pumps last longer with less headaches. This flows right down through the organisation whether it be selecting the right type of pump or an alternative material to give the best return on investment.

Fun Fact: Darren loves family time and trying to perfect the art of Indian chicken curry!

Fun Fact: Michael is a qualified personal trainer as well as a nationally recognised strength and conditioning coach.

Account Manager – South Australia

About: Jason is our account manager in South Australia. His 15 years’ experience in account management as well as his passion and commitment to solve tough challenges makes him well suited to help with any pumping needs.

Fun Fact: Jason purchased his very first car for $50 at age 12 and restored it with his father. A 1958 FC Holden Panel Van called “Barney” (it had holes in the floor like a Flintstone’s car) and still has it to this day.

About: Jerry is our Account Manager in Queensland. He has 16 years of Account Management experience in the construction, agricultural and mining industry. Absolutely enjoys making anyone he meets feel a little better about their day after spending some time together.

Fun Fact: He led the School Polynesian Dance Group with a Samoan Cultural Performance for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at age 9 when Her Majesty visited New Zealand

He has more than 30 years of industrial experience in the chemical, steel, and infrastructure industries as a Mechanical Engineer. He willingly discusses with clients over the phone to suggest cost and energy effective solutions to resolve their pump related problems.

Fun Fact: He drives the plastic recycling initiative in our office to help save the environment.

Fun Fact: He spends most of his weekends working in the garden (much to the team’s amusement) and likes to keep active with a range of outdoor activities.

He started as Application Engineer in pumping systems for the oil & gas industry in Colombia and then moved to Australia. He enjoys helping customers with any technical enquiries as well as solving tough pumping challenges.

Fun Fact: He used to play roller skate hockey and represented his state in a couple of tournaments in Colombia.

约:米anjeet has been with the business for 14 years and has spearheaded pump exports to Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Laos, Senegal, Mexico, Ivory Coast, Indonesia amongst other countries. He is an expert at sending pumps all around the globe.

Fun Fact: Destiny has brought Manjeet back to the Mitsubishi site where he had previously worked as an engineer for many years.

Geared with over 15 years of industry experience, he is a trained Project Manager poised to deliver projects with maximum efficiency in a pioneering fire division.

Fun Fact: He struggles with a chocolate addiction and keeping fit. His therapy outside of work involves detailing cars and shopping.
